Radici and Bloom Back for “That Person’s Heaven” by Matt Mullican: when art and industry meet in the name of sustainability

Through a language made of symbols, colours, and visual codes, Mullican gives shape to a universe where mind and matter intertwine, creating a system of signs that interprets every aspect of human experience.
The work, conceived specifically for the spaces of Palazzo della Ragione, unfolds as a monumental 16×16-metre grid composed of thirty-two works of equal size — half painted in black and white, half in red — transforming the environment into an immersive perceptual field.

Silence plays a central role in Mullican’s artistic practice: not as absence, but as a presence capable of amplifying the inner dimension of experience and fostering a deeper listening to oneself and the work. Within this suspended space, images, symbols, and unconscious memories emerge, composing a mental landscape in constant evolution.

The installation is created in collaboration with Aquafil S.p.A. and Radici Pietro Industries & Brands S.p.A., two Italian excellences united by a shared vision of innovation and sustainability.
In this context, Radici brings its expertise in sustainable textile flooring to the world of art, guided by a philosophy centred on circularity and the value of materials.
An expression of this approach is Bloom Back, the single-component carpet made of regenerated and regenerable polyamide 6, a symbol of design that merges aesthetics, technology, and environmental responsibility.

The collaboration with Mullican embodies a true dialogue between art and industrythought and matter, where the artist’s symbolic vision meets Radici’s commitment to turning sustainability into a shared language.
Deeply rooted in the Bergamo area and the textile culture of the Seriana Valley, Radici reaffirms its commitment to promoting projects that celebrate cross-disciplinary exchangeresponsible innovation, and beauty as a form of knowledge and awareness.

Silent Flooring: the ideal acoustic insulation flooring for contract spaces

An acoustic insulation floor is a technical solution designed to reduce footstep noise transmission and improve sound absorption in interiors. It is important to distinguish between sound insulation, which prevents sound from spreading through structures such as floors and walls, and sound absorption, the ability of a material to absorb sound waves within the environment, reducing reverberation.
